Fair and Balanced???

A wildlife symbol of a network no longer fair and balanced.

Oh, Fox News, I knew you well. I remember the days when your slogan of “Fair and Balanced” was defensible. Now, it is nothing more than an unworthy epitaph for your hopeful grave that should more appropriately read “Conspiratory Pervasive.”

The Nazi Coup

Nazi eagle

Calling today’s Democrats Nazis may seem radical. Just speaking the name Nazi can make the hairs on the back of one’s neck stand up. The word conjures up visions of terror and death camps.

Questions and answers

Blake's Image of Creation and creationism should be a warning to fools who deny God and His creation narrative. Or those who presume to judge God with theological questions about which they know little themselves. Some dire predictions are also possible today. Creation also answers a great many questions about who we are and where we came from.

In light of the recent Las Vegas shootings, the same questions are being asked that have been asked before: Why?

Congress needs cleaning: join the pact

The institution of Congress takes the blame, but its members really should. Many of them proved that at the State of the Union speech. Many have let lobbyists buy them. But how to drain the swamp? Donald Trump pledged to do this, regarding ObamaCare and other issues.

The current state of politics in these United States is wrought with stagnation caused by career politicians that are full of themselves. Everything has become a “deal” – to the exclusion of doing what is right for their constituents. For members of congress who serve two-year terms, the reality is that the serve one and spend the other one campaigning in order to hold on to their seat – with “holding on to their seat” always being their primary objective. The repercussions of that for the American people means more representation for special interest groups that contribute to their campaigns and less representation for the average American. While the people they represent may be thrown a few crumbs now and then – those they truly represent are those that finance their careers.

Neil Gorsuch and Roe v. Wade

Supreme Court, battleground of the Constitution, rules for Hobby Lobby. But is Neil Gorsuch a good candidate to sit here?

Since Roe v. Wade was decided in 1973 legalizing abortion, the issue has been passionately argued by factions both for and against the procedure. The battle for life also made it to the confirmation hearings of Neil Gorsuch when he was questioned by Senator Dick Durbin of Illinois regarding his opinion on the matter.

Tornadoes, victims, and “wrong demographics”

Wrap fish withal! (Does the CIA run this show?) That's what The Washington Post, CNN, and most other Mainstream Media are good for. An empire of lies. And they dare call the rest of us fake news. They can't even cover disasters, like tornadoes, without discriminating among their victims. Worse, the news media are attempting a coup against the rest of us with their lies.

Once known as the Fourth Branch of government, the news media outlets in the United States have seemingly abandoned their mantle as the nation’s watchdog. They have traded their responsibility to shine a light on corruption in favor of promoting their firmly held ideologies that are often racially charged, globally dedicated, and politically liberal. The NY Times’ slogan of “All the News That’s Fit to Print” may have earned it well-deserved respect in the past, but now-a-days it is as irrelevant as the paper itself. In the week following the devastation experienced in America’s heartland by an estimated 30 tornadoes on March 7th, hardly a word has been written nationally. Certainly such a catastrophe should qualify as “…News That’s Fit to Print.”

Money, money, money

The Federal Reserve. Out to destroy the economy now? Its paper money system is another big business product no one thinks about

Money is a commodity that is known to be both a blessing and a curse. Many decent souls have compromised their integrity over the want of things it supplies and the power it births. And many well-intentioned politicians have sold their constituents down the river all for the fictitious lure of its promise to provide what is good. For them, the biblical principle of the love of money being the root of evil seems to hold true. There is an old truism that states: “Follow the money” when searching for the root of corruption. It was true back in biblical times when Jesus turned over the tables of the money changers in the temple and it is true now.

Equality, racism and hypocrisy

Abortion destroys unborn children. As ye sow, so shall ye reap. The advocacy of abortion reveals the hypocrisy of the left.

Perhaps an unspoken truism is “Hypocrites you will have with you always.” While sinfulness is part of human nature, hypocrisy goes back to the Garden of Eden when Eve first rationalized that truth can be subjective, hypocritically disregarding the wisdom of He who is Truth. Throughout the ages it has been evident that the human ability to rationalize what is wrong is unlimited. Today it is evident in the pro-choice movement that rationalizes the taking of helpless human life but hypocritically objects to the killing of helpless animals. To them, right is what they want it to be regardless of any common thread of logic.

Sanballat lives today

God protects Israel when Israel respects God. Nehemiah knew this. Why don't Israel's leaders today? For that matter, why don't Americans see that? Why listen to modern descendants of Sanballat?

The Bible is filled with an extraordinary amount of wisdom that can be gleaned from political controversies in the far past. One such book is that of Nehemiah. It is a book that has much to offer to a nation that has been given a reprieve by God that symbolically as well as literally wants to rebuild its walls.

ObamaCare citizen’s solutions

The institution of Congress takes the blame, but its members really should. Many of them proved that at the State of the Union speech. Many have let lobbyists buy them. But how to drain the swamp? Donald Trump pledged to do this, regarding ObamaCare and other issues.

All eyes and ears are upon President Trump and the Republican Party waiting for a proposal to replace ObamaCare. According to media chatter, this new proposal may include being able to purchase health insurance across state lines, health care savings plans, keeping your plan and doctor if you so desire, and being allowed to keep adult children that are living under your roof covered until they reach the age of 26, and of course, the coverage of pre-existing conditions. All these options would be good ones; still, the elephant in the room continues to be how to cover the indigent and/or those that simply have not purchased their own insurance for one reason or another.
