Life Under A Constitutional Republic vs. Socialism

The Constitution, which sets forth the principle of rule of law, defines what is unconstitutional, and guarantees freedom of speech and other liberties of a Constitutional republic, and also describes the impeachment power. (How many know of the Jewish roots of this document?) Hypocrisy threatens Constitutional government. Could Israel use a constitution like this? More to the point: would a Convention of States save it, or destroy it? (Example: civil asset forfeiture violates the Constitution.) Quick fixes like Regulation Freedom Amendments weaken it. Furthermore: the Constitution provides for removing, and punishing, a judge who commits treason in his rulings. Furthermore, opponents who engage in lawfare against an elected President risk breaking the Constitution.

On 3 November 2020 the American people will decide whether to remain a constitutional republic or begin a slide into socialism.

Socialism, sincerely speaking

Rejecting the intermarriage of Constitution and socialism (and socialist politicians).

Socialism is the true goal behind removing President Trump and undoing his every act. Socialists mean to undo our liberties also.

Free market and republic – worth defending

Capitalism at its best, works without government to try to steer it or pick winners and losers.

In America itself, the free market and the concept of republic are under threat as never before. Socialism will destroy both, and with them, basic liberty.

Why I trust Donald Trump

I trust Donald Trump more than anyone else in Washington, DC. The Walkaway movement today trusts him more than they do Democrats.

Why? So far, everything Donald Trump has done, and is trying to do, is keeping the promises he made to us as a candidate for president. He was elected to do what he is doing. It’s the first time I can recall a man being elected to the office of President of The United States and does everything within his power of the office to do exactly what he told us he would do if we would hire him. (Furthermore he doesn’t even accept the salary we pay him, but donates it to charity).

Charlottesville: the real battle

Seal of Virginia. Translation: Thus Always to Tyrants. The first battle in a wider war took place in Charlottesville on or about 12 August 2017. A second battle may shortly take place...

Subvert: to overthrow, destroy, undermine, or destabilize an established or existing system, especially a legally constituted government or a set of beliefs. (Webster’s College Dictionary) This is a time which calls for complete and unabashed honesty with ourselves. What are we really witnessing with the events of violence being carried out in our beloved America? The vile and putrid display in Charlottesville, Virginia this past weekend is but one more event of such violence intended to subvert our Republican form of government of Individual Freedom into one of a Socialist dictatorship, such as we have witnessed in many countries of the world, with Venezuela being the most recent.

Donald Trump will fix the problems

Donald Trump has raised expectations. His State of the Union message satisifed some and raised others. To satisfy them, he must drain the swamp in and of the federal government itself. To make America great again he must re-establish the rule of law. Now he's taking a gamble--with tariffs.

I don’t like it, but can forgive if Donald Trump swears, how many wives he’s had, or whom he voted for. I don’t care what his income tax return shows. It’s OK that he tweets his thoughts to us. I want the problems fixed and the drive toward Socialism stopped. Yes, Donald Trump has a big ego, but I don’t mind. I know he’s not a racist, or bad to women, or feeble-minded, or all the other things the liberal media is trying to label him with. I know he’s raised a good family, and that says a lot about him to me.

Liberty or death: struggle for freedom

A symbol of liberty - and unity and separation - and also of orneriness. Tommy Robinson got ornery in England. He faces summary execution by inmate for it.

One reader asked me, “Mr. Porter, why do you write about Liberty or Freedom so much?” I do realize that I seem to write in the defense of Liberty a lot. The question prompted me to write another:

Call to action: support Donald Trump

Donald Trump (now President) addresses his fans. Note to Michael Horton: Donald Trump never called himself Messiah. The one who did, trashed Christian values, and you said nothing. But now comes the counter-coup against Obama. But one thing more: is Trump the antichrist, or will he protect us from him? More recently: herewith a call to action to support a President who stands against oppression.

This is a call to action to all who cherish freedom from government oppression. What is oppression? It is, (Webster’s Dictionary) an “unjust or cruel use of authority or power.” We are facing the same decision people have faced and been struggling with for centuries, to accept oppression or resist. Here I address the battle between the forces of good and evil, the good of individual freedom on the one hand and the evil of government oppression on the other.

What is President Trump trying to do?

Trump Derangement Syndrome and the reason for it. This map shows the magnitude of the force behind the counter-coup, the defeat of the progressives, and the victory of Donald Trump. He promised to Make America Great Again. He can't do it until he regains control of his own administration.

What is President Trump trying to do? More—and better—than you think.

Individual freedom – what it is

Lady Liberty: a symbol of liberty and individual freedom. Time for some redemptive change to help us rediscover it. And to distinguish among the concepts liberal, libertarian, and conservative.

In a discussion some time ago a gentleman asked me, “John, what does individual freedom mean?” It actually caused me pause for a moment. I, like most Americans, have always taken my freedom for granted without really thinking about what it means. I was born and raised in America. Thus I have never personally experienced real government oppression, as have so many billions of people all over this world. So I began a study of the bed rock differences in the United States and the other countries of the world, to answer for myself the real meaning of individual freedom, and also if America is an exceptional country because of it? If you remember, President (at the time) Barack Obama said publicly he does not believe America is exceptional from any other country. Hearing a president of the United States make that statement struck me like a bolt of lightning.
