Guns, Mental Illness or Spiritual Deadness – Which is it?

Our hearts are inundated with sorrow and amazement as we hear the list of victims from both the El Paso and the Ohio shootings grow day by day. Then comes the relentless battering from the media with its long list of people to blame and possible reasons it all happened.

Really America! Hillary won’t save you

Anti-ethics, and allowances for liars, produced this result and now glosses over it. Hillary Clinton is totally hypocritical in this pose. But will anyone ask the right questions? Behold the elephant in the room. Behold also Mrs. Quid pro quo.

Let’s not waste too much time on Hillary Clinton. With firepower minutes away and the clout of the entire State Department behind her, Hillary was unable to save even one of her key subordinates in Benghazi. Let’s move on – nothing to see here.

Mizzou Dalliance Gives Way to Dopiness

Benedict Arnold went to Harvard. Nathan Hale went to Yale. Who was better informed?

Yale and Mizzou students effectively ran off a school president and a chancellor all in the name of PC and liberal notions of a fantasy zone where students can feel “safe.”

The American Voter – Smarter than a Fifth Grader?

Donald Trump has raised expectations. His State of the Union message satisifed some and raised others. To satisfy them, he must drain the swamp in and of the federal government itself. To make America great again he must re-establish the rule of law. Now he's taking a gamble--with tariffs.

Author Doug Johnson, a prolific writer and blogger published a piece about how the election of Ted Cruz could end up getting Hillary into the oval office. I examined Doug’s article and after visiting his blog realized that this colorful writer was loaded with political savvy and a great deal of insight – but with a tinge of the conspiracy theorist penchant for the – ‘what is really behind the scenes, even though nobody can prove it.’ There was only one point in Doug’s article published on the newly rising ‘Barbwire’ website under the direction of J. Matt Barber that I could not get out of my craw. It had nothing to do with Hillary, but has to do with how the American voters perceive or understand what is being said to them by the various GOP candidates in this election cycle.

Putin Warns Isis – Obama Warns Schools about Girls Shower

Shower head

My first inclination was to title this piece, “Obama threatens to spank school district for not favoring a single transgender student.”

It is not up to any President – It is entirely up to us

Ronald Reagan knew the trouble with liberals

Realism ignores the blather of both the pessimist and the optimist. The realist does not ask if the glass is half full or half empty. When an eight ounce glass is half gone the realist says there is four ounces of fluid in the glass. It is a statement of fact not a positive or a negative statement.

CNBC Debate: Cruz breaks up MSM – Unifies Candidates

Ted Cruz, Tea Party candidate for Senate from Texas

Sen. Ted Cruz clobbered the moderators of the CNBC debate on Wednesday October 28 when he was asked a ‘gotcha’ question, but instead of taking the bait, he began to rebuke the CNBC inquisitors.

Donald Trump: 2008 redux?

Donald Trump, pragmatist

Long before Barack Obama swept into office as a pop-culture icon in 2008 I had serious doubts about his record, his honesty and his intentions about many issues including “gay marriage’ and abortion. I tabled many of my doubts, naïvely believing the American people would see through his inexperience, dishonesty and hidden motives and leave him behind. How wrong can a man be?

Donald Trump: Birther Redux?

Donald Trump at a conservative gathering in 2011. Does he truly pass the test? It would appear so--for he is now the voice of the silent American majority. He at least stays grounded in the real world.

This writer would make the Donald my last choice in a field of sixteen candidates from the GOP primary, but if he is the last man standing after the primaries he would be my first choice for president.

The ‘Magnificent Nine’ Provide a Litmus Test for all the 2016 Presidential Candidates

Supreme Court, battleground of the Constitution, rules for Hobby Lobby. But is Neil Gorsuch a good candidate to sit here?

In a brilliant piece written by Garth Kant and published on WND, Mr. Kant has provided a comprehensive list of 2016 conservative candidates who support a constitutional amendment to reverse the recent insult of the Supreme Court on ‘homosexual marriage’ in the case of Obergefell v. Hodges.
