Midterms illegitimate? Dems tee up cheat story

Joey Biden - our commander-in-chief can't keep a campaign promise, and trying to excuse a bad Midterms

Yesterday, President Joe Biden teed up an excuse-making narrative for the shellacking he must know the Democrats face in Midterms. In an otherwise rambling, long-winded press conference, he said the results from Midterms might be illegitimate. Already his press secretary is doing damage control over this, but the damage stands.

What did Biden say about Midterms?

Biden made the remarks yesterday (19 January) at a press conference to mark his first full year in office. Incidentally, this was a rambling performance, that Dr. Steve Turley rates as a total disaster.

At that conference, a reporter asked whether he felt the results of Midterms would still be legitimate if HR 1 and HR 4 did not pass.

CNAV prepared its own direct transcripts of two embedded videos. The first, CNAV cannot present here, but readers can follow the link to the story where it appears. The second appears in a tweet, which CNAV can embed.

Q. Speaking of voting rights legislation, if this isn’t passed, do you still believe the upcoming election will be fairly conducted, and its results will be legitimate?

A. Well, it all depends on whether or not we are able to make the case to the American people, that some of this is being set up to try to alter the outcome of the elections.

And it’s one thing … look … maybe I’m just being too much of an optimist.

Remember how we thought not that many people were going to show up to vote during the pandemic? We had the highest voter turnout in the history of the United States of America.

Well … um … I think if, in fact, no matter how hard they make it for minorities to vote, I think you’re going to see them willing to stand in line and defy the attempt to keep them from being able to vote. I think you’re going to see people who try to keep them from being able to show up, showing up and making the sacrifice they need to make in order to change the law back to what it should be.

Ah … and, um … but it’s going to be difficult. I … I make no bones about that, that it’s going to be difficult. But we’re not there yet. We’ve not run out of options yet. And we’ll see how this works.

Q. I wanted to clarify. A moment ago, you were asked whether or not you believed that we would have free and fair elections in 2022 if some of these State legislatures reformed their voting policies. You said that it depends. Do you think that they would in any way be illegitimate?

A. Oh, yeah, I think it could easily be illegitimate. Imagine – imagine if, in fact, Trump has succeeded in convincing [unintelligible] to not count the votes. Imagine that …

Q. In regard to 2022, sir.

[Crosstalk]

A. In 2022, I mean … uh-yuh-yuh-yuh … those attempt to say that … uh … the count was not legit. We have to recount, and we’re not going to count, going to discard the following votes. I mean, sure … I mean … I’m not saying it’s not going to be legit. But the increase in the prospect of being illegitimate is in direct proportion to not being able to get these reforms passed. But I don’t think you’re going to see … you’re not going to see me, and you’re not going to see the Democratic Party, give up on, and [unintelligible] come back and assuming that the attempt failed today.

What does that mean?

The President is saying that the results of Midterms could indeed be illegitimate from his point of view. Unless HR 1 (the “For the People Act”) and HR 4 (the “John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act”) pass, Republicans could willfully discard certain votes that the Democrats believe ought to count anyway. And what votes might these be? To answer, look again at the text of the two bills, at this link. Biden is trying to win on:

  1. Votes of illegal aliens, other non-residents, and felony convicts. Hence same-day registration.
  2. Mail-in votes. CNAV has shown by Chi-Square analysis that mail-in ballots skew Democrat.

He’s also trying to federalize the election so that local Officers of Election cannot do their sworn duty.

Last, and most important, he is going to campaign on the premise that Republicans don’t want certain people to vote, who have a right to vote.

And don’t forget what President Biden said last week: that HR 1 and HR 4 were about who gets to count the vote.

Jen Psaki says wait! He didn’t mean Midterms!

Press secretary Jen Psaki (pronounced “Sackey”) hastened to “tweet” that the President didn’t mean what he said.

That’s not what the Twitterverse heard! Have a look at these tweets:

Read Byron York’s commentary at this link.

And last – though CNAV must advise parental judgment and discretion for this tweet:

You clowns spent four years casting doubt on elections when Trump was President, then decided nobody else could do the same, and our (sic) now preparing to enshrine your bulls__t.

I don’t like you very much, Jen.

CNAV doesn’t like her, either.

And no, Jen Psaki doesn’t have to read any of CNAV’s output, because the good news is that she’s fired. It will take three years starting at noon today to make it real, but fired she shall be. Performances like this, and that of her boss, are the reason why.

The bad news is that the American people have to listen to this back-and-forth through Midterms, and past them.
