The 15-year old suspected of opening fire at his school will be charged on several counts and as an adult.

On Tuesday, 15-year old Ethan Crumbley opened fire at Oxford High School in Michigan, killing four and injuring seven. He was arrested on location when police saw him walking out of the bathroom carrying a gun, which still had seven rounds of ammunition in it.

Authorities announced that there was a “mountain” of digital evidence. Prosecutor Mark Keast said, “A preliminary review of the defendant’s social media accounts, his cellphone, as well as other documented evidence recovered on scene showed that this defendant planned this shooting, he deliberately brought the handgun that day with the intent to murder as many students as he could.”

Crumbley will be charged with one count of terrorism causing death, four counts of first-degree murder, seven counts of assualt with intent to commit murder, and 12 counts of posession of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

The twelve counts added up to each count of murder, assault, and terrorism. Additionally, Crumbley’s parents may be charged, since their firearm was used in the shooting, meaning they did not store it properly. Oakland County Prosecutor Karen McDonald said she would be charging Crumbley as an adult.

She said, “This is unspeakable. We send our kids to school. We think that they’re going to be safe, so the only thing that I can do as the prosecutor is ensure that I will do everything I can to prosecute this case and pursue justice for these victims but also to speak out and say that we need better gun laws.”
