Ex-girlfriend of man killed by Rittenhouse says he’s ‘a coward’ hiding ‘behind a gun’
The ex-girlfriend of the second man shot and killed by Kyle Rittenhouse,18, voiced her emotion and anger towards Rittenhouse following the verdict being announced.
Emily Petty, 25, dated Anthony Huber, 26, for around three years, before they broke up about three months prior to his death. Although she was at home when she heard the verdict, she later sat outside the courthouse on a bench and cried.
Petty told The New York Post, “I would say you,” referring to Rittenhouse, “are a coward. If you need a gun with that caliber, you’re just a coward. He’s a coward who hid behind a gun and I’m disgusted that he wouldn’t look at the damage that he’s done.”
She said that Huber’s death and the ensuing trial have forever changed her. Despite their breakup, she believes that they would have mended things and gotten back together. “If Kyle Rittenhouse wasn’t there, this world would be completely different now,” she said. “Who knows? We could have probably mended things because I was trying to keep my best friend even though we weren’t together. I cared about him. I loved him.”
“Clearly he doesn’t have any recollection or care for human life,” Petty continued. “Personally I hope I never see his face, and I’m so disgusted with Kenosha and the choice that they made.” She added that she hopes Rittenhouse gets “what’s coming to him,” before saying, “He probably will. What goes around comes around.”
After Rittenhouse shot Joseph Rosenbaum, Huber tried to hit him over the head with a skateboard, after which he was shot and killed by the 18-year-old.

Equality Under the Law and Conflicts of Interest in New York
As usual those who ignore the facts are still trying to pretend what happened was Kyle Rittenhouse’s fault. If the people had not been rioting and destroying property people would not have been there to protect property. And the two dead men and wounded man attacked Kyle Rittenhouse. But since when does the truth matter to those on the “Left” and those who promote violence.
