Law: who respects it?

Published

on

The gavel: a symbol of judgment and rule of law. It should not be consistent with Don’t tell your mother. But it is when it stands for judicial abuse. What happened to good judgment in America? Or are we left only with scandal?

I am not only concerned, but deeply worried, about an issue which more than all else can totally destroy the United States of America and this Republic we all depend upon for freedom. That issue is law, and lack of respect for it.

Republic: A state or nation in which the supreme power rests in all the citizens entitled to vote (electorate) and is exercised by representatives elected, directly or indirectly, by them and responsible to them.

Law: Something laid down or settled; all the rules of conduct established and enforced by the authority, legislation of a given community, state, or other group. The condition existing when obedience to such rules is general to establish law and order.

Lawful: In conformity with the principles of the law.

Lawless: Without law, not regulated by the authority of law, not in conformity with law; illegal practices, not obeying the law, unruly, disorderly….. We citizens, as the ruling body, must demand our laws be enforced.

The two worst offenders

I can not remember a time in our history when the elected leaders in government, appointed department heads in government, and some running for public office have demonstrated such disregard for “the law.” I can not remember a time in our history when so many of the citizens of the nation seems to be willing to accept someone for president who shows almost total contempt for our laws. Contempt: The feeling of one who looks down on something as being low or beneath them. Yes, I am speaking of Hillary and Bill Clinton.

I am not speaking of Democrats. I refuse to believe the common people across this country belonging to that political party share that contemptible mind set. Rather, I am speaking of those two people, period. I have resided in Arkansas for more than forty years and followed and researched the Clintons very closely. And I am convinced they both attended law school and became lawyers for the express purpose of understanding exactly how to circumvent “the law” and defend their actions so as to be held blameless for ignoring it. I am convinced that from the outset of their public lives they intended to remain a team, no matter what, in order to amass immense wealth and unbridled power.

Contempt for the law

Hillary and Bill Clinton’s public actions demonstrate contempt and, along with those of Barack Obama, break and ignore “the law”. These acts already have a devastating effect all across this country. We all witness this on a weekly, and at times daily, basis. When a total breakdown of “the law” is finally complete the only thing left is tyranny.

Tyranny: A government in which all power belongs to one person, a Tyrant. The rule or authority is no longer, “the law,” but that one person.

Make no mistake. If we continue to travel the road and direction we are now headed, by allowing Hillary Clinton to be president, there will come a day when you will cry out from the mountain tops for the enforcement of “the law.”

What ever else, good or bad, you may think of Hillary Clinton, she will not be an enforcer of “the law.” What ever else, good or bad, you may think of Donald Trump, he will.
