Hillary Clinton. Historic first? Be careful what you wish for. And stay out of Hillary’s handbasket, if you can. Contrast her with Donald Trump.

Could anyone picture this? Today’s political climate has seen a rise in young adults who think Communism is a good thing. During the Cold War such political philosophies were shunned by evil manifestations that were realized for all the world to see. To some extent, the differences in the mindset of the youth of today verses years gone by can be attributed to a coup by progressive professors that has twisted the minds of those under their tutelage. However, much of the blame rests on the shoulders of parents that remain clueless about what their children are being taught. They have become the academic enablers of the Progressive Movement that undergirds anti-American, anti-Christian, and anti-Constitutional philosophies rampant among America’s modern generation.

This latter statement is based on a personal experience I had with a parent who refused to be an enabler, and a teacher that was progressive well ahead of his time. It was the early sixties when President Kennedy and the Soviet Union argued about which nation could kill the world over more times than the other. So it was odd, to say the least, that a public school teacher would teach about Communism in a way that made it seem almost Christianly. What he taught confused me. But when I went home and asked my father what was wrong with Communism, he taught me something else; something that would have an impact on me for the rest of my life. In addition to teaching me about the reality of life in the Soviet Union, he asked me to co-author an essay with him. Dad was smart. He didn’t just tell me what was wrong with Communism, he wanted me to understand it for myself – and he knew that word pictures were always a good way to do that. In this particular incident, we wrote a short essay where dad asked me to picture what a day in the life of a school girl my age would be like in Communist Russia. In other words, dad’s little thought experiment could be summed up as “picture this.” As I look back on my life, I believe this one instance formed the basis of my patriotism. To this day I wonder about my classmates that did not go home and ask their parents about what was being taught in that elementary school classroom on that day.

“To picture this” as a way of critically thinking through a situation can be an effective tool. While it is shameful that today’s modern generation cannot picture the consequences of their political Utopian philosophies, it is devastating if a presidential candidate has learned how to use the power of word pictures to manipulate her base to destroy one of our fundamental rights. The candidate? Hillary Clinton. The incident? Her speech at the Trayvon Martin Foundation where she asked the crowd to picture a world with Donald Trump as President. She went on to define that as a world where school children were shot in their classrooms, or at home doing their homework, or simply walking home from an errand. Of course she was using this as a tool to effectively manipulate her audience into believing that gun ownership bore the responsibility for today’s increase of violence – not the angry anarchists being raised by clueless and ineffective parents.

Picture this: this woman as President.Mrs. Clinton may have succeeded in manipulating the results of her thought experiment to bringing her audience to her illogical but desired conclusion. However I have a thought experiment of my own to propose to those that support Mrs. Clinton and her agenda to abolish the Second Amendment. Picture this. Picture you’re living in and working in Benghazi, USA with your family and dependent children. Picture that you know the environment is getting dangerous and you need help. Picture that you petition Mrs. Clinton, repeatedly asking for a gun permit, but she doesn’t answer the phone and ignores past email requests. Picture that the worst happens. The Islamic Extremist refugees that have hunkered down in your neighborhood know that you and your family are unarmed. So, they do what Islamic Extremists all would like to do. They break into your home one night as you are sitting there watching television with your family, and they pull all of you out into the street and do things to those you love that are too horrific to write about – all as you are forced to watch before meeting your own doom. And you – you can do nothing – nothing at all because Mrs. Clinton would not allow you or anyone else in your neighborhood to purchase a gun, and those in your neighborhood that wanted to help were ordered to “Stand Down” as they watched in fear wondering when their turn would come.

Unfortunately, Mrs. Clinton’s scenario is happening today, but not in Mr. Trump’s America. It’s happening in gun-controlled Chicago and it happened to some extent in Mrs. Clinton’s Benghazi to our Ambassador and three other brave souls that would not obey orders to “Stand Down.” This is the reality of what life would be like under a Hillary Clinton presidency.

And while we’re at it, let’s picture the USA under a woman who refuses to abide by the law and holds herself unaccountable to the rules of security that have been established to protect our national safety. Let’s picture that this same woman would have the audacity to demand transparency from those that challenge her candidacy, but would refuse to make her emails or foundation documents transparent.

What would America look like under her presidency? Would it be an America where Billy Boy could molest whomever he wants, and if they dare to protest, they will be persecuted and further victimized by Hillary’s henchmen? Then picture a life where foreign interests can buy influence in governmental decisions in return for arms or special favors. Picture an America where hardworking Americans that are struggling to make ends meet have to pay for entitlements to illegal aliens because they represent a greater voting bloc. Picture a life where home invasions are common place because only criminals own guns. Picture a life where parents surrender their rights to villagers who have the collective right to raise their children according to their standards and beliefs, which defy everything they believe in and hold dear.

Yes, Mrs. Clinton, we should be picturing what America would look like under Mr. Trump’s presidency, but we should also be picturing what America would look like under yours. It has been said that a picture is worth a thousand words. Perhaps in this case, a picture is worth the price of liberty, prosperity, and safety. Yes, picture this, America, and after you do, vote.
