Prophecy and globalist plans

Tower of Babel, ancient counterpart to the United Nations. The first globalist or one-world government. They, too, used "together" as a deceptive euphemism. This did not impress God. Collectivism is no substitute for worship. In politics, America must stand for Pittsburgh, not Paris, and certainly not Babylon, ancient or modern.

Several of my tea party friends were disturbed to learn that I did not support Ted Cruz for president. While there were many reasons, one in particular stood out in my mind. That reason is as important to me as whether or not a candidate is pro-life. Based on Senator Cruz’ support from world bankers and his wife’s association with them and the Council on Foreign Relations, there is reason to believe that the well-known constitutionalist may really be a globalist. It is not a stretch of the imagination to say that he is/was cavorting with a well-connected globalist. Logically speaking you cannot have it both ways: either you are a constitutionalist or you are a globalist. By their very nature, nationalism and globalism cannot co-exist, since the former believes in national sovereignty and the latter believes in surrendering national sovereignty to a global government.

My objection to a global government is multi-faceted. If it would usher in a time of worldwide peace prosperity as it proponents would have you believe, it would be at the cost of chains and slavery that would be so pervasive that, along with our firearms, we would lose our ability to revolt.

This New World Order (NWO) would create a cabal wherein representative government would be swallowed up by unreachable and unelected elitists, who could arbitrarily abrogate our rights as protected in the first 10 Amendments of our Constitution. We would be at the mercy of those that govern over us from a distance. In this illusionary Utopia, you can say goodbye to your firearms, to your parental rights, and to any rights you may have to pursue happiness on your terms. Recent United Nations initiatives have proven this to be what we could expect should our nation submit to the globalists’ agenda. And it should be note here that the United States of America presents the greatest stumbling block to achieving their agenda. But as bad as all of this may be, it is only the tip of the proverbial iceberg.

Globalist successes thus far

Before discussing the NWO’s role in prophecy, we would do well to examine the successes this agenda has already attained. Nothing is more telling than the words of world-renown banker David Rockefeller, a globalist kingpin. In a speech he gave at the Bilderberg meeting on June 5, 1991 in Baden Baden, Germany, Rockefeller said:

We are grateful to the Washington Post, the New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promise of discretion for almost forty years…It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subject to the bright lights of publicity during those years. But, the world is now more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government.

The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national auto determination practiced in past centuries.

Rockefeller could not accomplish this goal with only the help of the above-mentioned publications. In order to successfully accomplish such a coup, he would additionally need the help of high-ranking elected officials. It appears there have been many of those as well, including President George Herbert Walker Bush, who in 1993 at the Rio summit sold out our property rights to the Agenda 21 conspiracy, and his successor, Bill Clinton. The list of globalists in government is long and disturbing and crosses party lines. It includes many of whom took oaths to preserve and protect our Constitution from enemies both foreign and domestic. While our citizens expected these oath-takers to be sincere in their pledges, in reality, swearing their oath of allegiance was only a means to an end – and end of the nationalism their constituents expected them to protect. In reality, they were the domestic enemies we expected them to protect us from. This isn’t a case of the fox guarding the hen house, this is a case of a fox disguising himself as a hen and living within the hen house.

All of this is very disturbing, but is it prophetic?

Globalist hints in prophecy

The globalist plan and hints of it in Bible prophecyThe Books of Daniel and Revelation, as well as many of the words of the prophets of the Old Testament, point to a time of Tribulation – the likes of which the world has never known. Whether or not the Church of Christ is raptured before, during, or after this time has been debated for two millennia by well-educated and sincere biblical scholars. Regardless of its timing, few would debate that according to Scripture several things will happen during the time referred to as the “End Times.” For the purpose of this writing I will only discuss the New World Order, since I believe we have already seen its genesis.

In Chapter 17 of the Book of Revelation, we are told about a great harlot who sits on many waters. Harlotry in the Bible usually refers to a state of apostasy where God is betrayed by His people. The meaning of the “waters”, is defined right within the very same chapter. Verse 15 states: “…the waters which you (John the Revelator) saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues.” The explanation continues in verse 18: “And the woman whom you saw is that great city which reigns over the kings of the earth.” Now you have to back track a bit – all the way back to verse 5, which talks about the city. Verse 5 says (in caps): “MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.” Before putting this together, it is necessary to understand that every word is important. If the Scripture said: “BABYLON THE GREAT” instead of “MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT” it would have been referring to Iraq, which was the historical Babylon. So, don’t be confused, MYSTERY, BABYLON, is not Babylon but contains a mystery that God’s children are to understand, since biblical mysteries are meant to be understood by God’s children.

I will take some license in interpreting “MYSTERY, BABYLON”, but I want to make it clear that this is my understanding and not an understanding I’ve heard preached or embraced by any biblical scholar. I believe “MYSTERY, BABYLON” is referring to the world’s first one world government that God destroyed, which is identified by the destruction of the Tower of Babel. This one world government greatly displeased God, since it sought to raise itself above God, as is characteristic of Satan. When applying this interpretation to the rest of the text in Chapter 17, the explanation of what the Scripture is describing can be a prophesied NWO that no longer regards God and which consists of the multitudes of nations in verse 15, and reigns over the kings of the earth, as mentioned in verse 18.

Although there is much more that can be written about this passage, I will conclude with this: if it makes God angry – angry enough to separate the nations at the time of the Tower of Babel, and angry enough to usher in the Great Tribulation, then, Christian, it should make you angry too. The New World Order, as I believe is prophesied, is blossoming right under our very noses. We may not be able to stop the avalanche that is about to break loose, but it is prudent to be on the right side – God’s side. Over and over again in the letters to the seven churches in the Book of Revelation, God’s children are admonished to overcome. While the timing of the Rapture is being debated, our job here on planet earth is clear. We are not to roll up and play dead, believing our escape is imminent. We are to overcome and stand strong against the enemies of our God. This may not be the easy course, but it is the only course that will please our Creator and our God.
