The House of Representatives just voted on the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act.

Read that title again. Then read it again. What does it say?

It says the House took a vote to decide if a baby who survives an abortion should be allowed to live. The fact such a vote was even taken shows how low we have sunk as a society. How little human life means to so many Americans.

Well…at least we can take solace that the House voted unanimously that surviving babies have the right to live. Right? Not exactly. I stated in the title of this article that murder is a partisan issue.

Why is murder a partisan issue?

Let me explain:

426 congressmen and women voted. Eight did not vote. Only 248 voted for life – protecting the surviving baby. An astounding 177 American men and women voted to allow the surviving baby to be murdered.

Read those numbers again.

And again.

You MUST comprehend what you are reading: 177 people elected to represent you were so callous to the life of a born baby they publicly voted that they are alright with killing that baby.

Sadly, all 177 who voted to kill surviving babies are Democrats. How can this be a partisan issue? If you are a Democrat, even if you are pro-choice, do YOU actually believe murdering a newborn baby is acceptable? Is this the kind of vote you want from the person you elected to represent you?

Go to https://www.govtrack.us/congress/votes/114-2015/h506. You will find all the votes by state. See how YOUR congressman or congresswoman voted. Did they represent you on this issue? If not what will you do about it? Will you contact them and issue a fervent complaint expressing your disgust? Or will you shrug your shoulders and continue to vote for them?

I live in New Jersey and a lot of people who read TPATH articles are also from here so I’ll tell you how our representatives voted: All six democrats voted for murder. All six republicans voted for protecting life.

Some of those 177 democrats are Catholic. Pope Francis is in the area. Maybe they can meet the Holy Father and brag about their vote.
