Evil, be thou my good

Flag of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Trump just trashed a "deal" with them. (Will war result?) Time to imagine a post-Ayatollah Iran. Did Obama try to wangle an October Surprise in Iran? Maybe, but he probably didn't get it. And today: shall we grant asylum to those who might propose to impose "Iranian" government values on us?

Please peruse this item on the Iran nuclear deal before continuing:

Can one negotiate with evil?

The Three Wise Monkeys. Hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil.

I am not the first to point out that the West in general, and that Americans and Israelis in particular, cannot negotiate successfully with the disciples of Muhammad.

These Muslims, be they Arabs or non-Arabs, are the world’s leading merchants or wheelers and dealers at any international Bazaar or Conference. Merely to engage them in negotiations based on “reciprocity,” or any “give-and-take” relationship, dooms you to failure.

You are not dealing here with ordinary human beings. You are dealing with a serpent in the shape of a human being.

Some people call this serpent “Satan.” There is only one thing to be done with this serpent: kill it before it kills you.

How the West denies evil

But the West does not want to know about Satan. It willfully sees no Evil, hears no Evil, and speaks no Evil, about the world’s most charming merchants of Evil.

Indeed, the word “Evil” has been erased from all levels of Western education. “I’m okay, you’re okay,” is the morality of the campus and of law schools. When Nietzsche’s Zarathustra proclaimed “God is dead,” that also meant that Satan is dead, hence that good and evil are dead. But this can be misleading.

To understand the nature of Satan you need to bear constantly in mind these words of Milton’s Paradise Lost — “Evil Be Thou My Good.”

“Evil Be Thou My Good” precisely defines the morality of our most lethal enemies: those disciples of Muhammad with whom American, as well as Israeli, statesmen and diplomats seek peace.

Until we recognize the Satanic morality of our enemies and undertake the actions required to purge mankind of their dictum of “Evil Be Thou My Good,” we shall suffer one calamity after another.◙
