Constitution

Hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil

The Constitution, which sets forth the principle of rule of law, defines what is unconstitutional, and guarantees freedom of speech and other liberties of a Constitutional republic, and also describes the impeachment power. (How many know of the Jewish roots of this document?) Hypocrisy threatens Constitutional government. Could Israel use a constitution like this? More to the point: would a Convention of States save it, or destroy it? (Example: civil asset forfeiture violates the Constitution.) Quick fixes like Regulation Freedom Amendments weaken it. Furthermore: the Constitution provides for removing, and punishing, a judge who commits treason in his rulings. Furthermore, opponents who engage in lawfare against an elected President risk breaking the Constitution.

It seems Eric Holder may at least have two of the three above virtues in place. Though in this particular instance one can hardly consider his deafness and blindness a virtue. The all-seeing, all-hearing aristocrat must have lost his senses. Either that, or he is guilty of criminal negligence at worst or dereliction of his fiduciary responsibilities at best.

According to his testimony on Capitol Hill, the man didn’t hear anything or see anything that could incriminate him or his boss, BO, in any way shape or form. So to quote Governor Chris Christie, “What the [censored] are we paying you for?”

He is either totally incompetent or a liar. Holder might be many things, but he is not likely to be as deaf and blind as he would have us believe.

Perhaps it would be hard to pin the charge of perjury on him and make it stick, since that would require proving intent. However, there are a whole host of other charges that are viable and “stickable.” The Fast and Furious debacle might not prove Holder guilty of perjury, but it certainly proves him not an Attorney General worthy of his paycheck.

This pro bono defense lawyer for accused terrorists might be able to deny intent in this case, but if past behavior is any indication of where someone stands on principles, then the reality of his involvement might be much worse that the charges he is now facing. The interests of Mr. Holder might be diverse and arguable, but apparently the good of this nation is not among them. After all, how else can he explain labeling the Fort Hood incident “workplace violence”? Where I come from, if it walks like a duck, talks like a duck, and acts like a duck, it’s a duck – or in this case it’s an “Islamic Terrorist,” which arguably makes Mr. Holder a real quack.

So, Mr. Holder, can you answer this question? Just exactly to whom do your loyalties lie? The American people? Islamic terrorists? Or Mexican drug lords? Unfortunately, loyalties in this instance might be as hard to define a perjury – or are they?
