A letter from a domestic terrorist
Since the spontaneous generation of the TEA Party in 2009, liberals of all kinds and from all walks of life have been lining up to call members of the TEA Party less than complimentary names. At the very outset, Nancy Pelosi called us Nazis, mobsters, and of course Astroturf. She had one thing right, like Astroturf the TEA Party refused to die.
In 2010 the most popular name was racist. And now, in 2011, we are called domestic terrorists. To be honest, terrorists is perhaps the first name that fits us from the liberal point of view. If a terrorist is someone who strikes fear in the heart of his enemy – then terrorists we are – as those brave visionaries who fought against the greatest world power of their day were back in 1776.
There is something that should be noted by this latest label – those who use it against the TEA party make it clear that they view us as enemies.
If their agenda is to destroy this country by saddling it with incomprehensible debt – then they are right to consider us enemies and terrorists.
If their agenda is to clandestinely surrender our sovereignty as a nation to the United Nations through Agenda 21 – then they are right to consider us enemies and terrorists.
If they want to control our health care and all life and death decisions for us and those we love – then they are right to consider us enemies and terrorists.
If they want to turn our own children against us by signing our country onto the United Nations Rights of the Child Convention – then they are right to consider us enemies and terrorists.
If they want to cripple our farms and make it impossible for them to survive through stifling regulations imposed by their Rural Council – then they are right to consider us enemies and terrorists.
In a day and age when there are many varieties of terrorists, liberals who refuse to call radical Islamists who blow up buildings and commit mass murders terrorists, but pin this label to a free and liberty loving people should be shown what these so-called domestic terrorists can do. These domestic terrorists do not need explosives or planes to drive into buildings to strike fear in the hearts of their enemies. We have a better weapon – our Constitution. And we will use it against them to restore our country financially and spiritually. We will overcome as we overcame in 1776 because America is still great because America is still good. We may have forgotten that for a while, but this sleeping giant is now awake and ready to do battle.
Make no mistake about it. This is not a battle between rational and honest opinions – it has become a battle between good and evil and it’s high time we stop pussy-footing around and start calling it what it is. If fighting for what is right and what is good makes me a terrorist – I for one will wear the label proudly. And I can only hope that there will be legions joining me who will continue to strike fear in the hearts of liberals in this nation – starting at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. I can almost hear them crying now – The terrorists are coming. The Terrorists are coming. They’re wrong. We’re already here!
