TEA Party v. GOP establishment

TEA Party to GOP establishment: enough already.

As the 2016 race for the White House heats up, concerned citizens and a growing list of TEA parties around this great nation have united to send the GOP a message loud and clear. In an effort to give a unified voice to the growing movement, the Bayshore TEA Party in New Jersey reached out to TEA parties throughout the country, encouraging them to join their voices with others.

7.1 million law-abiding citizens

7.1 million signed up because this signature says it was the law.

These days it takes a bit of self-control not to scream at the television every time the man now occupying the White House uses his bully pulpit. His gifts and shortcomings may be debatable but his ability to spin facts is a talent in a class all by itself. Recently BO and his team of spinmeisters have had the audacity to claim a “victory lap” for the disastrous healthcare extravaganza that was forced upon America. It seems that BO and his team can now take credit for the 7.1 million law-abiding citizens in this nation that have signed up for Obamacare. Are we supposed to disregard the fact that this is required by law?

Tea Party as referee

Having been involved with the Tea Party movement pretty much from its inception and as a result having had the honor and privilege of meeting and getting to know so many wonderful, selfless and dedicated human beings, I had found myself honestly bewildered at the vitriol, hate, and verbal assaults those blessed people have been subjected to.

Many bloggers, including myself, have been pouring ourselves out trying to do all we can to save this nation. We have written articles that identify our problems; offered solutions that the average American can embrace; and have exposed those who claim to be our compatriots but have shown by their actions that they are not. Although many readers have accepted my posts very well, I have failed. I have failed because all this education and motivation has begun at step two – assuming that step one should have been obvious. I’ve now realized that it is necessary to state the obvious.

Why?

Over these past six years this country has witnessed the most unbelievable “sticker shock” imaginable.  As we awake this morning and face yet another new day filled with more unemployment, America’s health care system eroding to third world-ism, the danger of growing Islamic terrorism, despots and Communist dictators threatening and invading their neighbors, even those whom drank the first few batches of Kool-aid are beginning to ask, why?

Anyone, left, right or middle, extreme or moderate, who is able to exhibit even a minuscule amount of honesty, would be very hard pressed to deny that everything conservative groups, such as the Tea Party, have been warning about the Unaffordable Health Care Act (ObamaCare) and the devastating impact it would have on America has come true and in spades.

The United States Chamber of Commerce just out-Obama’d Obama. They will spend fifty million dollars on an anti-primary campaign against Tea Party upstarts in the 2014 election season. And why will they do this? Chamber point man Scott Reed told The Wall Street Journal why: “No fools on our ticket.” (See the quote here at The Hill online. You have to subscribe to the Journal to read it there.)

Anyone who still doubts the need for a new or “third party” in American politics, has another reason to lay aside all doubt. The Republican Party does have an “establishment,” with all the inertia all establishments have. That establishment declared war against the Tea Party and all real conservatives last week. They did this for an absurdly simple reason. Reason enough for true conservatives to find or found a third party.

Chris Christie ruining his chances?

Wall Street, by some accounts, is already handicapping the 2016 Presidential race. As long as Republicans nominate Chris Christie, and Democrats nominate Hillary Clinton, Wall Street is happy. At least, so says AtlanticWire. But New Jersey’s Tea Party community already want New Jerseyans, and the rest of America, to know: Chris Christie is no conservative.

Last week’s commentary, The GOP’s Declaration of War, was brought into further clarity this past weekend as the Republican Establishment  dusted off and rolled out two more progressive artillery pieces.  If there was any doubt left in any conservative mind, as to just whom is the target of this new assault, Nutty Norquist and Baby Bushy surely should have extinguished any remaining embers of ambiguity.
