Why I shake America awake

The best way to control the opposition is to lead it ourselves.

– Vladimir Lenin

We have found, again, in the center of Ferguson, Missouri, that provocateurs have been sent in to stir up domestic insurrection.

Reason: faith’s greatest enemy

“When valor preys on reason, it eats the sword it fights with.”

Over the past year I have noticed that the spirit of America has gone from bravery, valor, courage and “these colors do not run” to the best that conservatives have (Fox News) stating that, “They are coming for us.” As if to say that there is nothing 312 million armed-to-the-teeth people can do about a bunch of coward devils with swords in hand.

Islam and Iraq in Prophecy

Since many do not study prophecy and others believe there isn’t any need to since we will all be swept away before the period referred to as “The Tribulation” begins, they do not recognize the prophetic events unfolding before our very eyes. Before proceeding, it is necessary to stress that we can recognize the signs of the times but we cannot accurately predict how end time prophecies will play out or the specific dates of these occurrences.

Muslim flag at White House?

A typical Muslim national flag: green with a white crescent and star.

Twenty years ago, a comic tract artist warned of a deadly ambition in the Muslim world. Muslims, he said, wanted to fly their green crescent-m00n-and-star flag over the White House. Few people even knew what he said, and even fewer took him seriously. But today Muslims, from a brutal commander of an army without a country to a real head-of-state, now avow that ambition openly. What have secular, and especially leftist or libertarian, politicians to say to that?

As someone who is considered to be a grassroots activist, I often find myself talking “politics” with many who are interested just for the sake of conversation. It can be a frustrating calling when those who agree philosophically and morally remain apathetic. These represent a large percentage of the population that claim to have conservative values and often identify themselves as Christians.

This article was written by [Dwight Kehoe] in response to and because of a conversation [he] had with a TPATH reader. His identity will, at his request, remain undisclosed.  After hearing the account of his meeting up with a long time friend and also the fact that TPATH has been doing research and interviews with many people related to this subject, [Mr. Kehoe] decided that his encounter, combined with data and research [by Mr. Kehoe and TPATH] would provide a vehicle for getting some  important information into print.

‘Christian’ leaders and truth

There is a common, worldly kind of Christianity in this day, which many have, and think they have enough – a cheap Christianity which offends nobody, and requires no sacrifice – which costs nothing, and is worth nothing.

Global warming and prophecy

Global warming, (a/k/a climate change), is a peculiar tenet embraced by liberals. Although the modern liberal movement may think they are the founders of this movement, Adam and Eve were the first environmentalists. They were instructed by God to take care of the garden and treat the animals properly (Gen. 1:28). Today uber-liberals have also become uber-environmentalists, and as is the case in other instances, their extremism has perverted noble intentions.

Christians as hypocrites

Going to church doesn’t make you a Christian any more than going to a garage makes you an automobile.

– Billy Sunday

I remember when I first became part of the family of God in Jesus Christ about 20 years ago. On several occasions while attending church services, there would be people who would share their testimonies where a good half hour would be spent on magnifying how sinful, evil and bad they were with a smirk on their faces, while one or two minutes would be spent on emphasizing on how good God was by saving them through Jesus Christ. I also noticed that in many cases these storytellers were the first ones to play the hypocrite outside of the congregation’s eye. One day they would be in front of a church giving their testimonies, and the next they were out doing the same things they proclaimed they were delivered from. The furthest thing from their professed walk in Christ was Christ Himself. The fruit of Jesus was M.I.A. when it came to their walk.
