Leadership: epic fail!

When a plane like this was shot down over Ukraine, de facto President Obama failed of leadership.

Two days ago, rebel forces in eastern Ukraine shot down an unarmed civilian airliner. Our de facto President barely acknowledged this. He was on his way to yet another fundraiser. Now we know the Russian Federation supplied the weapon the rebels used and even took it back into Russia. Barack Obama has barely answered this, and his answer lacks luster. All this goes to show his worst failing in the office he holds: he lacks leadership.

Obama alien invasion

The Obama alien invasion. That’s what Grassfire, to name one grassroots organization, now calls the flood of immigrants from Central America. These include mothers (but not fathers) bringing small children, children traveling alone, and young toughs. Why the Obama alien invasion? Because evidence shows that Obama didn’t just let this happen. He made it happen. He even planned for it. But did he make a good plan? The world shall see.

Police state USA?

Is America turning into a police state? Is someone deliberately turning America into that? Several disturbing signs, each explainable by itself, form a chilling pattern. And the pattern might reach deeper in history than one administration.

IRS scandal: par for the course

The latest hearings on the IRS scandal in the House of Representatives prove one thing above all. It is not that the Obama administration is the least transparent presidential administration in the history of the United States. We knew that already. Instead, it is that the American people lost their Republic the day three-fourths of the several States ratified the 16th Amendment, and Congress ordained and established the Internal Revenue Service.

Cover up 2.0

The original cover up fell apart when someone looked hard at it. No one's looking hard enough today.

Ladies and gentlemen, introducing Cover up 2.0. Most of you, reading this today, will not recognize this as the second version. Cover up 1.0, for anyone who does remember, was Watergate. In the summer of 1972, Watergate stopped being the name of a famous hotel in Washington D.C. The name became a label for the most serious sort of government malfeasance. Watergate was about burglary, wiretapping, and theft of documents from political opponents and even from confidential professionals, specifically a psychiatrist. Cover up 2.0 is more serious. It is about using the taxing power to destroy political speech. But this time, Cover up 2.0 might succeed where Cover up 1.0 failed. The reason: the heroes that stopped Cover up 1.0 in 1972 1974 have no counterparts today.

Through the Looking-Glass

Lewis Carroll’s sequel to Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Through the Looking-Glass – and What Alice Found There, bears an uncanny resemblance to life in America today where up is down and down is up.

Rachel Maddow and me

It all started when I realized that the hirelings in church pulpits were not preaching the Word of God to homosexual communities. I noticed that these preachers were omitting the Word and dancing around what they should have been pointing out concerning the gay communities and their lifestyle choices (Deuteronomy 30:19). My intent, however, was to warn homosexuals of what God’s Word says by going into the belly of the beast, only to find that they wouldn’t have it. Not only would they not have it, but they would fight off by any means necessary those who were willing to love them enough to tell them the truth of God’s Word. I can safely say that I did my part by warning the gay communities with the truth, whether they wanted to hear it or not.

Imperial lame duck

Elected representatives in America have often been labeled “lame ducks” when their term is in its final stages. This label implies that their ability to accomplish anything is hindered by the limited time they have left in office. Historically, that has been the case – especially for presidents in their second term. That is not the case for the man now occupying the White House in 2014.

America’s biggest threat

A variety of threats could be listed in today’s America. All of them would probably be legitimate. Looming financial disaster, intrusion by the United Nations in many levels of life and government, Obamacare, Common Core Education, depletion of our military, illegal immigration, voter apathy, and of course terrorism – just to name the most obvious. But the biggest threat to America may be lurking in the background hiding behind all the rest – the man now occupying the White House. Many refer to him as POTUS. I befittingly refer to him as BO – for obvious reasons.

Unauthorized, un-American

I am the granddaughter, niece, cousin/sister, daughter, daughter-in-law, and mother of many committed patriots. Perhaps it is this background and personal experience that makes the present Administration more offensive to me than I could have ever imagined possible in my younger days. Through the years I have witnessed an array of different presidents, some with many problems, and many with some problems. However, no one ever attributed their shortcomings to be telltale symptoms of an un-American belief system. Oh – those were the good old days.
