Boston Marathon Bombing: 1 suspect dead

Boston aftermath - and set-up

The Boston Marathon Bombing story broke wide-open during the night. The FBI seems to have identified—correctly—two suspects. The two shot it out with police, who killed one and are now looking for another. But this story also could embarrass the Obama administration for at least two reasons.

The Boston Marathon Bombing story took a confusing turn today. And events did more than confuse some people. They frustrated some, and frightened others.

Eric Holder, repeat offender

Eric Holder asks what other Attorney General came in for his kind of treatment. He's got to be kidding.

Is this where Eric Holder wants to go?

Once a government is committed to the principle of silencing the voice of opposition, it has only one way to go, and that is down the path of increasingly repressive measures, until it becomes a source of terror to all its citizens and creates a country where everyone lives in fear. – Harry Truman, in a speech opposing communism

Attorney General Eric Holder has again shown his true colors – his disdain for America and her laws. Recently, he took action against the German Romeike family, which is seeking asylum in the United States after being forced to flee the country or risk losing their five children to the German government. Germany was attempting to force the Romeikes to put their children in public school against their religious beliefs in a terrifying repeat of history.

Pat Toomey – an open letter

The Second Amendment is the reset button on the Constitution

To Senator Pat Toomey:

First, thank you for posting the proposed “Safety and Second Amendment Rights Protection Act” on your website. Being able to read the entire bill helps in the understanding of its implications. TPATH has spent a great amount of time reading it and reverting back and forth between the many titles and sections of existing law that this legislation would implicate.

Press: free or lapdogs?

Josef Stalin understood gun control better than many people today

It’s no secret, nor is it difficult to find, with just a cursory brush with American history, to what extent the Founding Fathers understood the vital importance of a free press and the right of the people to be informed. The Bill of Rights, consisting of the 10 most important requirements for an enduring, prosperous and free society, listed first, the number one condition, freedom of speech.

Asteroid games

Iron sulfide, or pyrite, is a perfect metaphor for spending government money to drag an asteroid to earth and land on it.

Why is the federal government planning to bring an asteroid into orbit around the Moon? Even in “flush times” that would be a bad investment. It’s a worse investment with the country, and the world, in debt already almost non-repay-able. Especially when the world faces a natural disaster closer to home.

Department of Defense and fallen heroes

In our topsy-turvy-Alice-in-Wonderland-type of world, things often just don’t make sense – especially things in government. The Department of Defense reached new heights of absurdity when it denied awarding medals to those killed and injured by Nidal Hasan in the Ft. Hood massacre. Of course the DOD has denied the Purple Heart to others in the past, but never in an effort to protect the “rights” of our enemies.

Leo Terrell, liberal poster boy

This man imitated Leo Terrell without ever knowing it.

The political left in America is intolerant, immature, and impolite. Which is why much of what they say is incompetent, irrelevant and immaterial. Last night’s performance by Leo Terrell on Sean Hannity’s program is a prize example.

Google exposing Google

Google might have given Christians an incentive to "search" elsewhere.

After traveling to see family on Easter Sunday, I finally managed to find a few moments to read some emails and had to logon through Google. What a surprise. I usually don’t pay too much attention to their doodles; to me they’re nothing more than window dressing. Sunday was different.
