Is this still America?

Much has been written about the recent Obama Administration scandal that centers on the IRS’ abuse of power. One of the most profound questions asked during the House Ways and Means Committee More »

Washington prays for the soul of America

Obama’s Crown vs. Washington’s Cross

As you ponder the spectacle of Obama acting like a king, remember this: Criminals mock society’s laws. Your compassion is a weakness that your enemies do not and will not share.

Common core education: government poison

The New Jersey primary has another defining issue, as if it needed more. Its name is “common core education.” And it separates the wheat from the chaff among candidates.

Girl Scouts: Scouting Gone Astray

Girl Scouts as they used to be.

I asked many of you to please contact the Boy Scouts of America to ask them to adhere to their standards of morality by not allowing open homosexuals leaders and members into their organization. This brought to mind my own Girl Scouting experiences which I want to share with you that are not for the faint in heart.

Beyond School Choice Week the real work begins

Education reform: is it impossible?

Another School Choice Week has come and gone with the advocates for the cause indulging in superfluous gatherings that offer information to those who know little of the subject matter, while inciting the flames of discontent among adversaries.

Freedom or Tyranny: a series

A timeless symbol of the Second Amendment and of freedom.

No Amendment is more important than the Second. The recent attack on the Second Amendment has inspired me to set the record straight once and for all. Knowing the truth can make a difference between freedom and servitude. Whether you agree or disagree with these articles is of no consequence to me. The magnitude of failure in protecting your rights will fall upon not only you, but also your family, and Country. My prayer is you read very carefully.

Tomorrow is a very important day in America. Tomorrow we will find out if there is any hope at all in saving our country, our moralities and our children. Tomorrow we will see if the Boy Scouts of America will continue to be the character builder and the guiding principle for young boys and men as it has in the past.

Taxes and Tithes: Is Government replacing the Church?

The Constitution. It's good to know your history, including the biblical foundations of this document.

The subject of taxes has been a controversial one since the beginning of civilization. I’m not someone who thinks taxes are completely unnecessary. They are. We could not run our government – either state or federal – without some kind of a tax system.

Boy Scouts not good business anymore?

A Boy Scout patrol does community service.

The Boy Scouts of America made a major mistake in recent years. They grew too dependent on gifts from big businesses. But “the business of big business is business,” and business often means catering to customers that might take offense at those who get the gifts. Now those companies are threatening to stop giving. And hundreds of adult Boy Scout leaders  might lead the Boy Scouts, or at least their members, to the independent existence the Boy Scouts of America once knew.

Contraceptive Mandate unchanged

The Constitution. It's good to know your history, including the biblical foundations of this document.

Don’t let the Friday Afternoon Document Dump fool you. The “new” regulations on the Obamacare Contraceptive Mandate change nothing, except to make it look reasonable where it didn’t before. The Contraceptive Mandate keeps its essence. For that reason, the Roman Catholic Church and concerned Christian businesses are still fighting it.

Menendez allegations – statement

The only surprise about the allegations against Senator Menendez is that they have taken so long to materialize.

Mark Levin, hypocrite

The Constitution. It's good to know your history, including the biblical foundations of this document.

Everyone who knows of or who has heard Mark Levin may be under the false perception that he cares about this country, where it’s headed and the slow destruction of our Constitution. Of course it would be very easy to find oneself in that group, since his rants and raves seem to bespeak that allegiance. But his actions, his spineless avoidance of the one thing that could, if everyone stood together, actually stop Obama’s destruction of our country, has proven, Mr. Levin cares more about his personal wealth than he does about this country and the Constitution he continues to act as if he supports.

Robert Menendez skates on thin ice

Robert Menendez. Poster child for liberal hypocrisy, especially on gun control.

Senator Robert Menendez (D-NJ) has been a corrupt politician all his life. He knows all the tricks, whether for getting (and doing) special favors or for stopping any serious inquiry into how he does things. But now he’s in a spot of trouble he can’t dodge. Or can he?
