Rock of offense to Hollywood

Remedies for a culture run amuck

The truth is like a lion, just turn it loose and it will defend itself.

– Augustine of Hippo

Hollywood is at it again. They are continuously mocking God and His Word only to show the American people how dead set they are against God and His rule. You see friends, Hollywood is offended by “The Rock of Offense” that exposes them for who they are; and because of this, they then attempt to manipulate scripture by giving America their twisted version of the patriarch “Noah” (that looks just like them). To prove my point, self avowed atheist and director Daren Aronofsky said that his movie Noah is the “least biblical, biblical film” (Psalm 14:1).

Millennial committees of correspondence

A fitting symbol of Millennial Committees of Correspondence

Do you believe that the average American is woefully uneducated about the national problems we are facing?

Do you feel compelled to inform and educate the masses about the troubles we are facing as a nation?

Principle over opinion: an on-air battle

Brdlee Dean

I look to a day when people will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.

Martin Luther King, Jr.

Character is defined as: Mental and moral qualities distinctive to an individual.

Recently, I was a guest on my new friend Jesse Lee Petersen’s radio show out of Los Angeles. Friends, keep in mind that Jesse is a black man and I am a white man; and the listening audiences of Jesse’s show seemed to be a majority black audience.

Bill Nye, Ken Ham debate – live TV?

Does Bill Nye hold to this?

The Bill Nye-Ken Ham debate draws more interest with every hour, both from media and from the lay public. The latest hints from Answers in Genesis signal a shift in their plans, toward carrying the event on live television.

Bill Nye, Ken Ham debate – sellout crowd

How old is this planet? Bill Nye thinks he's ready to debate that. But others want him to back out.

The great debate between Bill Nye (“The Science Guy”) and Ken Ham, head of Answers in Genesis, will play literally to a sellout crowd.

NSA surveillance: let’s sue ‘em!

The NSA surveillance program is now in bad hands.

The National Security Agency first lied about the NSA surveillance program. They said they were running no such program. (“N-n-not w-w-wittingly.”) Now they brazenly assert they have a perfect right. So now an angry United States Senator has the perfect remedy. He wants the American people, or at least everyone with a cellular telephone, to sue the NSA and ask a judge to enjoin the NSA surveillance program for good.

New York Times: Walter Duranty Syndrome

James Risen writes for this paper. He told them what he thinks, and it is not pretty.

How does one diagnoses Walter Duranty Syndrome? A news organ publishes a report at wild variance with the facts as others understand them. When those others challenge that report, the editors hiss back, “We s-s-stand by our s-s-story!” Such an organ suffers from Walter Duranty Syndrome. That disease afflicts The New York Times. How appropriate! After all, Walter Duranty worked for The New York Times. And today, the Times has another Walter Duranty as a bureau chief.

Benghazi report: Walter Duranty redux

What difference does it make to her?

Yesterday The New York Times released another Benghazi report, in six parts. David D. Kirkpatrick wrote a book on Benghazi. This six-part Benghazi report consists of excerpts from that work. In it Kirkpatrick tries to revive the Hillary Clinton/Susan Rice narrative. He blames “The Video,” and denies that Al Qaeda operates in Libya. But this new Benghazi report brings back the ghost of another infamous writer for The New York Times: Walter Duranty.

Global warming expo stuck in ice

The Hubert Lamb CRU headquarters, center for worldwide global warming alarmism

On Monday (23 December 2013), the crew of the Russian motor vessel Akadyemik Shokolskiy sent an urgent radio message. Ice from the Antarctic had trapped the vessel. That vessel has seventy-four souls aboard, counting officers, crew and passengers. Soon the Chinese icebreaker Xue Long (Snow Dragon) answered the call. But today Snow Dragon ran into a thick ice floe it could not break through. Early reports said Snow Dragon could not back out; the Chinese dispute this. But what no one mentioned, even on Fox News Channel, was what kind of expedition Akadyemik Shokolskiy was on. In fact, she was on a global warming expedition.

Mainstream media disgraceful, culpable

Useful idiots make the media of not much better use than to wrap fish.

Uninhibited speech without a doubt was thought by our founders to be integral to freedom and an oppression-free future. So they included it in the first of the 10 great Amendments. By putting special rights of the press in the First Amendment, right alongside freedom of religion, they telegraphed the importance they placed on the need for freedom of and for information. They did this not out of any particular love for those that would take to the pen or to the printing press, but to protect them, so that they could protect us.
