As we watch and listen, day after day, week after week as more and more lawmakers, both national and on the state level, write and support new laws infringing on the 2nd Amendment, one question continues to blare out at us. Can all these people really be that stridently stupid?

Background checks dangerous, says ACLU
Next week, the US Senate will take up a federal gun control bill. That bill has little more in it but “universal background checks.” Before today, only the National Rifle Association opposed that measure. But now the American Civil Liberties Union has denounced these new background checks. And whatever made them say it, they have a point.
Federal background checks alternative
This past week, once again, the illegal President, oblivious to the damage he might be doing to those parents and siblings who have suffered losses, displayed anew why he and the left are morally bankrupt. By parading the misery and emotional pain of those who lost children in the Sandy Hook massacre, in front of the world, in support of this tyrannical effort to dismantle more of our Constitution, he and they make crystal clear to all, that anyone and everyone are mere pawns, to be used as required, to attain the goal of total control of the citizens. Which brings the focus onto the subject of a Federal Background Check database. As usual, the government has this concept exactly backwards and totally unconstitutional. And most likely, intentionally so.

In light of the Supreme Court hand-picking the issue of homosexual marriage this week – an issue that has been settled by our Creator, the laws of our republic and the righteous compliance of the American people – I thought it was important to ask where the American people are deriving the belief that radical homosexual marriage is accepted by a majority of our citizens.

The producers of the two Atlas Shrugged movies made it official this week. Atlas Shrugged, Part 3, will release to theaters next summer. The producers face a challenge: how to keep their series relevant. Have the American people turned their backs on the American work ethic and all the inalienable rights to life, liberty and property? The producers of Atlas Shrugged are betting that they haven’t.
Civil Rights – for some but not others
Civil rights have different definitions for different people. Most believe that civil rights are what our Founders termed “inalienable rights” – or basic rights that were given to us by God and are clearly understood and apply to all.
Obama eligibility: more recent evidence
The recent controversy on Glenn Beck’s remarks about forbidden subjects raises the Obama eligibility issue yet again. But another event took place that few noticed. Two experienced typesetters can show in twenty-five different ways that the Obama birth certificate is a fraud. Worse yet, they implicate Hawaiian officials and even a major media network in acts tantamount to treason.

Recently Glenn Beck made a statement that appears to have gone unnoticed by most. The context of what he was saying was cast to the mundane when he admitted, after years on TV and the radio of saying the opposite, that he was prevented from taking up subjects by the stations where he worked. This not only included FOX, but FOX was the object of the comment.
Doctors’ strike in the making?
Fifty-five years and five months ago this month, a Russian émigrée told the world what would happen if all the productive and creative people of the world went on strike. And now we might have the answer. A survey, released two days ago, is the strongest evidence yet of the one thing that will make “Obamacare” of no moment: a doctors’ strike.
