Windmills: is Chris Christie kidding?
Steve Lonegan’s Americans for Prosperity (AFP) held a rally on the beach in Asbury Park, NJ today, to oppose “Global Wind Day.” The popular chant captured the mood: “Governor Christie, go fly a kite!” And for good reason. His harebrained windmills boondoggle will cost the taxpayers $100 million in subsidies, just to start this project. Then you will see your electric bills soar. Experts say the total cost to the taxpayers could reach $1.4 billion before it’s over.
UN Agenda 21 – Hint, hint, hint!
The EPA and the Labor Department both dropped hints on UN Agenda 21. And the mainstream and alternate media both missed them. Did those hints provoke outrage? Certainly. Each hint provoked enough outrage for the government to backtrack on it, at least somewhat. But no one, aside from a few activists, connected one with the other, or connected either with the larger danger.
Global warming or global scam?
NASA is in the news again but this time for its scientists who have proven they have a spine. Apparently 49 NASA scientists, many of them astronauts, have strongly objected to those who use the Agency as a political football. Their letter to the Honorable Charles Bolden, Jr., NASA Administrator, denouncing global warming as bad science and excoriating NASA for propounding the idea, appears at the end of this article.
