Ben Carson: open letter

Ben Carson at CPAC 2014

Dear Dr.  Ben Carson,

First of all I would like to tell you how much you are admired and respected by millions upon millions of Americans.  At that “Breakfast Dinner” where you spoke, the people of this country were blessed to be able to see and hear, for the first time since Obama took office, a person stand up and say what needed to be said.

Taxation without representation

Obamacare brought two circuits to a crossroads of the Constitution

The term “taxation without representation” is commonly associated with our War for Independence. It was one of many grievances the Colonists held against the King of England for the three taxes imposed upon the Colonists. Today we are also suffering from this tyrannical activity but nary can a complaint be heard – possibly because it has gone unnoticed. Unfortunately, “unnoticed” does not mean unpracticed.

Veterans deserve better

The San Antonio Veterans Hospital is one of several implicated in the scandal of veterans dying on waiting lists.

Our government treats its military veterans badly. Everybody knows that now. We don’t know what the right people are going to do about it, or even who the right people are. We don’t even know how long this has been going on. But we should know this: what these veterans are enduring (or succumbing to) today, we will endure (or succumb to) tomorrow.

Elections: Tools of Tyranny?

Ballot box. The Electoral College compact relies on stuffing this.

Just this past week yet another conservative hopeful has failed his country, our Constitution and the people who have placed their confidence in him.  Rand Paul has joined the Progressive camps of the ruling parties with his declaration that voter fraud, the worst kind of election fraud, should be ignored.

Benghazi attack and White House lies

Chairman Gowdy, some of these people are hypocrites. Will your Select Committee call them to account?

The Benghazi attack story blew up over the last two days. This blow-up could not come at a worse time for Democrats. It shows why the American people should never entrust any branch of government to them. It shows why Barack Obama should not be President today. And it shows why Hillary Clinton should not become President in 2017. Barack Obama stole the Election of 2012 with a narrative he knew was false. We now know his White House specifically pressed that narrative. And did so at the cost of a man’s liberty, after four other men lost their lives.

No more RINOs

TEA Party to GOP establishment: enough already.

Several months ago TPATH reported on the GOP’s “Declaration of War” against conservative groups and their candidates. Since that article, conservative politicians and candidates as well as Tea Party leaders across this country have been subjected to a relentless onslaught by the GOP establishment (or the RINO establishment) and their newfound allies in the mainstream media.

Electoral college nullification?

Obamacare brought two circuits to a crossroads of the Constitution

Politicians in at least twenty States (and the District of Columbia) now seek to nullify the Electoral College. They would like to elect a President directly, by the popular vote. But they know they can’t amend the Constitution directly. So they seek to amend it indirectly. In the process they defy the Constitution and threaten to substitute mob rule for the rule of law.

Primary elections: more important

Team New Jersey. Not a party. A team. And right now they say: not another Bush!

If you do not take an interest in the affairs of your government, then you are doomed to live under the rule of fools.

- Plato

If you believe in freedom, liberty, and the unfettered opportunity to prosper is as American as apple pie, think again. In reality, politics in America has deteriorated. Greed, corruption, and the lust for power by those in Washington have become the norm. The current crop of self-serving establishment leaders have blatantly abused their offices, as well as violated their oaths of office.

TEA Party v. GOP establishment

TEA Party to GOP establishment: enough already.

As the 2016 race for the White House heats up, concerned citizens and a growing list of TEA parties around this great nation have united to send the GOP a message loud and clear. In an effort to give a unified voice to the growing movement, the Bayshore TEA Party in New Jersey reached out to TEA parties throughout the country, encouraging them to join their voices with others.

Battle cry TeamNJ v. The Machine

Team New Jersey. Not a party. A team. And right now they say: not another Bush!

TeamNJ has always advocated that voters should stand behind candidates of high moral character regardless of party affiliation. The problem in politics today is the public no longer chooses the candidate. It’s become apparent it is no longer about values, public policy, or what is beneficial to the public. It’s all about the “machine,” or should I say the “establishment” and of course, money.
