Israel, ironies, and nullities

Published

on

Israel, Judea and Samaria (occupied territories?), and Gaza. All these are the real Jewish and Israeli birthright, from the beginning. A God-given birthright, as Trump should recognize.. Which now-in-force international law and treaties recognize, going back to the San Remo Resolution. Even UN Resolution 242 couldn't change that. Disengagement from any of them spells disaster. A two-state solution violates this birthright. (As a candidate for ambassador clearly understands.) Why won't the Likud Party protect this birthright? Why do some accuse champions of Judea-Samaria of having crypto-Nazi tendencies? What can dispel the confusion on this point? And will The New York Times correct their own record in this regard? Or does a generation of the unteachable prevent a properly sober discussion? And now a new battle cry sounds: no taxation without annexation. Where is the proper statecraft Israel needs? Note: Israel is also a safer place for Christians than any other country in the Middle East.

Israel, led by Benjamin Netanyahu, is trapped in various ironies. He wants the Palestinians, a non-people, to recognize Israel as the State of the Jewish people!

Ironies for Israel and America

That the Palestinians are a non-people was recognized a few years ago by the America statesman New Gingrich, a professor of history. Professor Gingrich called the Palestinians an “invented people.”

Complicating this ironic state of affairs is Barack Hussein Obama who, in conviction, if not by birth, is a non-American – a invented member of an “invented” people.

In fact, Mr. Obama has called himself a “cosmopolitan,” a man without a country – which may also be said of devout Muslims. That he nonetheless champions the stateless Palestinians is it not without irony.

My own theological assessment of Mr. Obama is that like the Palestinians, he is a tool God is using to bring about Israel’s rectification and the redemption of the Jewish people. A clue is embodied in Deuteronomy 32:21:

They have provoked me with their nullities. Now I will provoke them by a non-people, by a vile nation.

Accordingly, America now has a vile President. Mr. Obama is not by conviction an American. Indeed, he supports Israel’s vilest enemy, the fictitious “Palestinians.” These so-called Palestinians are really Muslim terrorists. They are paraded as Israel’s “peace partners” by Israel’s English-speaking Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu.

Like these Muslims, Mr. Netanyahu is engaged in prevarication. He has been purveying a falsehood referred to as the fantasy of the Middle East peace process, which, from the outset, has been designed to truncate the State of Israel and annihilate the Jewish people.

The final irony

It seems, however, that God has given Israel a series of political leaders, none of whom has the ability to reveal the truth about this aforesaid peace process. Indeed, its revelation would collapse the State of Israel, whose main founders were animated by the goal of transforming the Jews into a non-people led by Hebrew speaking gentiles!

Hence a non-ironic word from Ezekiel 20:32:

That which comes into your mind shall not be at all; in that you say, “We shall be as the nations …”
