Flight 370: search and questions

Published

on

Flight MH 370 disappeared under circumstances similar to those of Flight QZ8501.

While the world continues to search for the debris of Malaysian Flight 370, many questions linger. To be sure, these questions can be answered in a variety of ways – but are the answers credible?

Flight 370 deliberately diverted?

Investigators have reported that Flight 370 was deliberately diverted from its planned route, and yet that point is rarely addressed. It has also been reported that the plane’s trackers were disabled moments after takeoff and Flight 370 was diverted prior to the co-pilots cordial good night message. But is anyone asking: if there was a problem that caused the pilot or co-pilot to divert the plane’s course, why wasn’t it being reported instead of the casual good night message?

We have also been told that the two Iranians who used stolen passports to board the flight had used real passports to enter Malaysia only days prior. We also know that these two Iranians paid cash for their tickets. But since we are told that this is common place in that part of the world, the obvious questions aren’t being asked.

A pilot’s obsession?

We also know that the pilot, Captain Zaharie Ahmad Shah, was politically passionate and obsessive. We also have pictures of the Captain wearing a T-shirt with the message “Democracy is Dead” printed in bold letters on his chest. And we know that the Captain’s wife and three children left the family home the day before the flight. All of this has been explained away.

Additionally, we know that Flight 370 had the fuel to enable it to fly for another seven hours, which meant that there were a minimum of 634 possible landing sites available to it – ranging from Australia to Pakistan. And we know that the plane rose – without apparent just cause – to 45000 feet, which would have killed or knocked out the passengers. Still, no one seems to be concerned.

Of course we still haven’t heard about what the investigation into the flight simulator revealed, but frankly, who would trust a report from the people who told us that the Ft. Hood shooting was only workplace violence?

Answers are not being proposed here either – just the suggestion that questions need to be asked and answers need to be examined for credibility.
